Incurred Cost Submission Preparation
FAR 52.216-7 – The Allowable Cost and Payment clause requires for cost-reimbursement contracts or time-and-materials contracts the contractor submit an adequate final incurred cost proposal together with supporting data, within 6 months after the end of its fiscal year. Contractors are encouraged to submit their proposals in electronic format utilizing DCAA’s Incurred Cost Electronically (ICE) Model. The proposal will include a “Certificate of Indirect Costs” signed by the company attesting the accuracy of allowable and exclusion of unallowable costs. After receipt of an adequately prepared proposal, the auditor will evaluate reasonableness, allowability and allocability of costs charges to contracts. We prepare your ICE submission using the DCAA ICE Model to assure compliance and acceptance for audit.
